PAKISTAN ORDNANCE FACTORIES is the largest manufacturing conventional weaponry and ammunition to international standards. They also have large facilities for producing brass, copper, and aluminum ingots, extrusions, and sections for nonmilitary uses. In addition to producing military uniforms, a clothing factory equipped with cutting edge, fabric cutting technology and cutting-edge sewing units may also serve the demands of the private sector. Wah Cantt is home to POF Board headquarters. There are currently 14 ordnance factories and 3 commercial businesses that make up POF.
Apart from its operational proficiencies, POF is dedicated to fostering abilities and knowledge via various training and development endeavors. One such program is the POF Summer Internship Program, which provides learners with the requisite knowledge and abilities for a prosperous career in the defense sector.
